SQL Server Database Architect
Lemington Consulting is looking for seasoned SQL Server Database Architect for a 3+ month contract in Tuscon, AZ. 1. Candidate must have 15 years of technical experience in architecting DB for large scale enterprise applications (web/client-server) that uses Microsoft technologies. Candidate must also hold a B.S. in computer science. Postion requirements include:
- DB Designing: Creating transactional databases and data warehouses, defining and executing ETL jobs, data cleaning and transformation strategies, defining security, performance tuning/optimization, logical and physical data modeling, analytics, collaboration, reporting, etc. Expert in OLTP and OLAP. Expert in dimensional modeling techniques as well as service oriented architecture.
- Environment setup experience: Usage of Virtual Machines, installation, deployment & upgrades of DBs, Networking [basic configuration of client-server systems, etc.], IIS configuration, etc.
- Highly technical, subject matter expert on DB architecture and show complete accountability.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure product quality is built in before product release.
- Data warehousing, data mining, reporting, BI, ETL design and deployment, etc.

Test Manager
Lemington Consulting is looking for a Test Manager for a 6 month contract in Tuscon, AZ. The candidate should have 10-15 years of technical experience in test execution and managing large scale enterprise applications (web/client-server) that uses Microsoft technologies. Candidate must also possess a B.S. in computer science. Position requirements include:
- QA Testing: Test planning, designing, traceability, preparing documentation, execution, reporting and documentation.
- Designing Functional and Non-functional test strategy (incl. performance)
- Test Environment setup experience: Usage of Virtual Machines, deployment & upgrades strategies, Networking [basic configuration of client-server systems, etc.], IIS configuration, etc.
- Tools exposure: Defect tracker, version control, Microsoft Tools list Visual Studio Team System, etc.

Lemington Consulting is looking for certified .NET developers with experience in developing .NET Windows and Web applications as well as Windows Services, Web Services, and Microsoft Office add-ins. Candidates with MCPD, MCSD, and MCAD certifications will be considered as will candidates that have .NET development experience and demonstrated progress towards achieving one of these certifications.
Job requirements include: - Proficiency in C# and/or VB.NET

- Experience converting legacy applications based on Visual Basic 6.0 and C++

Lemington Consulting is looking for a database application specialist to work on a project basis to assist in developing leading-edge software applications. We will consider well-qualified candidates who wish to work remotely. Job requirements include: - Extensive experience developing high quality database applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, Visual Basic, VBA, Microsoft Access (versions 2007 through 97) and SQL Server (2008, 2005 and 2000)
- Experience in relational database design including schemas, normalization, indexing, replication, etc.
- Strong TSQL skills in both SQL Server and Microsoft Access
- Strong reporting skills in SQL Server Reporting Services and Microsoft Access
- Experience with Microsoft Office automation with Excel, Outlook, Word, Project and other Microsoft Office applications. Experience with the automation of non-Office software such as QuckBooks would be helpful
